Last Minute Lasting Impressions

My daughter loves The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. We have read it so many times she knows the book by heart. I have your typical rambunctious can't sit still, must be making faces at someone child. This book is one of the only books she has sat still for and asked to be read and re-read over and over. Mr. Silverstein has really touched the heart of children and parents alike when he gives the tree the persona of a parent. Always willing to give, always willing to accept you back.
This gift basket has not only included one of childhoods most loved stories but has given you a tree that you can grow and nurture right along with your child. Imagine planting this tree when your child is born, and nurturing it along with your child as the years pass by. This is more than a simple little shower gift. This gift will touch the hearts of the parents and the child as he or she grows into adult hood and passes this story on to their children.

Gifts for Twins

As a mother of boy/girl twins myself, I can attest to the joy of having twice the blessings. While have girl twins or boy twins can be easy to find matching outfits, having one of each presents many challenges. Most baby boy outfits do not coordinate with the baby girl outfits, and yet as a mom of twins I did love dressing them similarly while they were infants.
This brings me to my latest find that I wish had been given to me when my little ones were born. Two sweet teddies that come with personalized matching outfits that will fit any set of twins and most importantly a boy/girl set of twins.
If you know someone who is expecting twins this gift is sure to please.

Give a personalized gift this year

While shopping around for family this year I came across Wal-Marts photo books. These are not your typical photo albums. For these memory books you upload your favorite photos and add verses, quotes or even descriptions. I chose to do scenery this year and add my favorite scripture verses.
This memory book would be excellent for family that is far away, an elderly relative or even a friend. You can add photos of your family, vacations you took or even make a photo book for yourself that will serve as a reminder of your year.
The great thing about this gift is it takes less than a week to get printed and mailed to you. It's a great last minute Christmas gift.
